Camp payment and refund policy
Last updated October 2026
Fees and deposits
A camp registration is held with a deposit of at least $50 per camper, up to the full camp fee. The balance is due by the date given in your confirmation. You can pay by card, by check, or by Zelle.
Camp fees are payment for a program, not donations, so they are not tax-deductible.
Wait list
When camp is full, you can join the wait list. We take no payment for a wait-list application. If a place opens, we'll contact you, and a deposit is due when you accept it.
Refunds of the deposit
We refund your deposit in full if we can't offer your camper a place, or if we can't offer either of the classes you chose and you decline the class we offer.
Once you accept the place we offer, the deposit is non-refundable, because we turn other campers away and buy materials on the strength of it.
Refunds of other payments
If you withdraw after accepting, we refund what you've paid beyond the deposit in full if you tell us by the balance due date. After that date, we'll do our best to help, for example when a camper is ill or there's a family emergency, but refunds are at Wynncliff's discretion.
If we cancel
If Wynncliff cancels a camp, we refund everything you've paid for it.
How refunds are paid
A card payment is refunded to the same card; your bank usually shows it within 5–10 business days. A check or Zelle payment is refunded by check to the primary contact.
Asking for a refund or withdrawing
Please email or call John (contact below). A withdrawal is final once we've confirmed it in writing.
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your card issuer; we'll put it right.
