Wynncliff is a small non-profit. We collect what we need to do the thing you asked us to do, and nothing else. We do not sell or rent information about our donors or guests to anyone, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What we collect
When you donate: your name, email address, billing address, the amount, which fund you chose, and whether you opted to cover processing fees. We never see your card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and never reach Wynncliff's systems.
When you use another form on this site — a reservation request, a maintenance report, a camp form — we collect the contact details and information that form asks for, so that someone here can act on it.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, each for one job:
- Stripe — processes payments and holds card details. Wynncliff does not.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
- Resend — delivers our email, including your donation receipt.
- Supabase and Vercel — store our records and run this website.
- Intuit QuickBooks — our accounting system, where gifts are recorded.
How long we keep it
Records of donations are kept for at least seven years, because we are required to substantiate charitable gifts and our own accounts. Other records are kept as long as they are useful for running the facility, and no longer.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in to a staff or organization area sets a cookie that keeps you signed in; that is all it does.
